I am a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Denver majoring in Political Science and Spanish with minors in History and Writing Practices. I decided to pursue a writing minor, not because I necessarily enjoy writing, but because I think it is an important skill and one I wanted to improve. However, as I have taken classes for the writing minor, I have realized that I actually enjoy academic writing more than I thought because it is through the writing process that I learn the most.

 

I will be graduating DU in June, and in August, I will be moving to Williamsburg, Virginia to attend William and Mary Law School. Originally, I am from Broomfield, Colorado, so moving to the East Coast will be a change for me. In my free time, you’ll find me reading, knitting, cooking, baking, and looking for cheap plane tickets. My love of traveling lead me to study abroad in Santander and Bilbao, Spain in the Summer and Fall of 2017; it was the best five months of my life, and I miss it every day.
