Children and Grandchildren of Holocaust Survivors
Spring 2016

This was the ethnography I wrote for the Writ 1133 class, part of the common core requirement at the University of Denver, which I took in the Spring of my first year. The paper is about the children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors and the lasting, intergenerational effects of the Holocaust. The paper was written in sections over a 10-week quarter. Memory, Forgetting, Apology and Forgiveness in Reconciliation
Winter 2018

This was the midterm paper for my Advanced Seminar “Political Forgiveness.” The class examined the question of “what does it mean to use a framework of forgiveness or reconciliation to address ideologies, socio-economic systems, and individual actions that have led to profound injury, conflict, injustice, and genocide?" The paper is about how memory, forgetting, apology, and forgiveness play a role in reconciliation. Click image to view
