This was the final paper I wrote for the Cold War Europe class I took as part of my History minor. The paper has two parts. The first part examined the extent at which European counties achieved autonomy from the Superpowers, the U.S. in western Europe and the Soviet Union in eastern Europe, between the 1960s and 1980s. The second part is much shorter and answers the question of when did the Cold War end. Click image to view
