1467 Fountains

Spring 2018

This was the short story I wrote for the Introduction to Creative Writing class I took to fulfill the applied writing requirement for the writing minor. It is a short, fictional story that is loosely based on the experiences I had abroad. Since I studied abroad in Spain, parts of the dialogue are in Spanish, their translations are in the footnotes. Grammar and Style Manifesto

Spring 2019

I wrote this manifesto on grammar and style for the Rhetorical Grammar class, which counted towards the applied writing credit for the minor. It argues that the traditional ways of teaching grammar and style in writing do not work and presents alternative ways of teaching them that are more effective. Click image to view
